Agriturismo “ Cornia”

Retaining its typical characteristics of a “Tuscan podere” (farmhouse and estate), the company renovated the rooms once used as farmhouse dwellings, transforming them into a lodge and resort for tourists and guests. The main building has been upgraded to meet its new destination of use so that guests may enjoy their stay plunged into the heart of the Chianti region.

A conservative renovation has been carried out ensuring preservation of existing architectural elements, salvaging original material on site and restoring the deteriorated parts. The installations necessary for the new destination use and for compliance with regional seismic rules and regulations were created by reinterpreting the existing building volumes leaving external characteristics unaltered.
