Il Tagliato garden and swimming pool

Conceived as a frame and complementary to the dwelling quarters, the selection of materials and finishes used for this project interconnect with the landscape characterized by terraced slopes where the Chianti Classico proprietary grape variety of the Farming company is cultivated.

The garden and the swimming pool, perched on the “balze” (crags), namesake of the wine produced thereof, the use of local stone, the waterfall filling system that springs from the walls in memory of the old “acquidocci” water main, the paths connecting the pool to the house are complemented by a garden of local plants and medicinal herbs in a surrounding of olive trees and vineyards.
